In a recent development, popular Nigerian rapper and activist, Folarin Falana, better known as Falz, has spoken out regarding his alleged involvement with controversial social media personality, Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky.

This clarification follows a statement from Falz’s legal team, Falana & Falana Chambers, in response to defamatory remarks made by social media personality, VeryDarkMan. The legal team demanded a retraction of the statements, which suggested that Falz was complicit in helping Bobrisky pervert justice. The letter, dated September 26, 2024, detailed the events and emphasized that Falz firmly rejected Bobrisky’s financial request.

Falz’s lawyer, Taiwo E. Olawanle, explained that while Falz provided legal advice, he did not initiate any financial support. The legal team also warned that if the defamatory statements were not retracted within 24 hours, legal action would be taken to protect Falz’s reputation.
